9th French-Danish workshop in Spatial Statistics and Image Analysis in Biology

PRESENTATION

The 9th edition of the workshop will take place in May 9-10-11, 2012 in Avignon, France. It is jointly organized by the Biostatistics and Spatial Processes research unit (INRA) and the Dpt. of Mathematics, LANLG (University of Avignon). The workshop is devoted to spatial statistics and image analysis and their applications in biology (agriculture, aquaculture, ecology, economy, environment, health, medicine, ...).

The first edition took place in Garchy (France, March 1996) and the last two editions took place in Copenhagen (Denmark, May 2010) and Toulouse (France, May 2008).

Attendance is by invitation only. An oral presentation is expected from every participant. Since the number of presentations is limited to about 40, we advice an early registration.
